David Stone

After service in the Royal Air Force, David Stone entered sales with H. J. Heinz where he progressed to Key Account Executive via several marketing jobs.

He then took up an appointment as Sales Director of Roofing and Maintenance Limited developing the sales of specialised roofing compounds.

His next executive role was with one of the international insurance companies and this was followed by a senior management appointment with Grundig International Limited. Here he developed a network of UK distributors and built up the Business Equipment Salesforce.

The Spearhead Training Group was formed in 1981 and David is now Managing Director. The group has gone from strength to strength and is now the leading Management and Sales training organisation in the UK.

The group also has strong European connections and David spends time each year with the EC countries.

Spearhead Gulf LLC, based in Dubai, was formed in 1997 in partnership with the Salim Al Moosa Group. David has the responsibility for developing business in the Gulf region.

A qualified pilot and keen flyer, his other hobbies are motor racing, tennis and golf.

A Gold Medallist with Honours in Public Speaking at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, an experienced Sales Manager, Consultant and Sales Trainer, David now handles a wide range of training and consultancy work.
