Benchmarking your sales team

We can help to provide measure of the level knowledge and skills of your sales team if you are unsure of their development needs and sales training requirements.

The needs analysis helps to ensure that any training delivered is appropriate to the requirements of the sales team and therefore provides the most effective return on your investment. Inappropriate training is expensive in terms of the cost in time and money and our commitment is make the largest improvement in business performance in relation to your investment.

There are a number of ways we can benchmark your sales team:

Sales training needs analysis questionnaire.
This consists of a range of different types of questions from multiple choice to open questions. Once the questionnaire has been completed, we provide a score and a recommendation of training needs. We have a huge data bank of questions in order that the questions are relevant to the sales team and their situation.    

One to one meetings.
This is a very cost effective method to identify the sales ability and therefore sales training requirements. The meeting lasts for 90 minutes with each sales person and involves discussion to identify the knowledge level and approach in sales situations. The meetings will subsequently highlight “gaps” and a focus for sales training.

Accompanied visits. The ultimate measure is how sales people perform in sales situations and therefore provides a detailed audit of the sales ability. This process involves attending joint meetings with sales people.  We measure their performance on numerous indices and which provides the basis for developing the sales training programme.
