HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT POLICY
As the Managing Director of Spearhead Training Ltd, it is my responsibility to ensure our policy on Health and Safety and the Environment is fully implemented within the company. I am convinced that this is not only good for people and the environment but also makes good business sense. The achievement of effective health, safety and environmental management ranks equally with all of our good business management and is a major contributor to our success.
Our policy requires us, wherever we operate, to:
protect the health and safety of our employees
minimise the risk to the public from our activities protect the environment
achieve high standards of health and safety and environmental care
prevent pollution
comply with all relevant legislation
adopt new techniques and better systems as they become available, with the aim of making the company the very best training business
provide appropriate training and awareness briefings thereby ensuring that all staff are kept aware of the policy and their individual responsibilities
strive for continuous improvement by setting SMART objectives and targets and measuring performance against these
display this policy at all Spearhead Training Ltd premises and make it available to the public on request
the company’s “Health and Safety Manual” and “Environmental Manual” provide the general framework of how we will undertake these responsibilities and define the management system and procedures to ensure that this policy is implemented.
